Jumping Castle Games for Little Kids

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

Bounce Around Tucson wants your party to be as much fun for you as it is the kids.  We found these games that can be played in any size jumping castle, bounce house or slide combo.

These games are sure to get all the little one’s involved!

Bounce Like a… Game

frog.jpgTell the children that every time you count 1-2-3 then yell out an animal, they have to jump like that animal.  Try frog, kangaroo, rabbit, then see what happens when you call out lizard, bird, elephant, fish and snail!!

The Giggle Game

Have one child lie down in one corner of the bounce house, then have the next child lay down at right angles to the first child with his/her head on the first child’s stomach. Have a third child lay down with his/her head on the second child’s stomach. Keep on until everyone is lying down. Then have the first child say “HA”. This will cause the second child to start laughing then the third, then so on.  You may have played this one before, but not in a jumping castle!

balloons.pngBalloon Fun

Grab some balloons and toss them in the jumping castle with the children. They can bounce with them and toss them in the air.

Tumble Races

Have the children take turns with this one.  Line up 4 children on one side of the bounce house and when you say “GO” they somersault (tumble) their way to the other side, touch the wall (or net) and then lay down and roll back to the other side.  Make sure the somersaults are on the floor and NOT in the air.

Red Light/Green Lightredlight.jpg

When you yell “green light”, everyone bounces. When you yell “red light” everyone freezes.

Simon Says

You’ve played it before, but not in a moonwalk! This is a fun way to rotate kids when you have a large party. Try the following commands:

  • Jump as high as you can
  • Bounce like a cannonball (curl up in the air and bounce on your behind, all rolled up)
  • Bounce on your rear
  • Bounce on your knees
  • Freeze!
  • Roll Around
  • Do a split in the air
  • Jump with your arms over your head
  • Add your own!

Anyone who does something Simon didn’t say is out and gets out of the moonwalk and the next player comes in.

Four Corners

Line the kids up and have them bounce in a row around the perimeter of the bounce, touching each of the pillars in the corners.

These ideas should add some fun to your child’s party!

Please play these games at your own risk. Children bouncing in an inflatable moonwalk should be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. It’s more fun when Mom and Dad are involved in the playtime!

Visit to reserve your jumping castle today.   We have Toy Story, Cars, Disney Princess, Tinkerbell, Spongebob, Dora, Spiderman, Batman, Jurassic Park and many more.  Our goal is to make your party the best it can be!

New Jumping Castles in Stock!

Friday, June 25th, 2010

Welcome to Bounce Around Tucson’s official blog site.   We are very excited to be able to bring you updates on our new jumping castles and inflatables as well as fun party ideas.

The newest additions to our inflatable inventory:

toy-story-5n1.jpg Toy Story 5 N 1 – Nothing is hotter than Toy Story 3 right now and this jumping castle combo has it all.  Inside this fun giant your kids will find an obstacle course, basketball hoop, climbing wall, jump area and slide.  Because you can use this inflatable WET or DRY, it’s perfect for the sweltering hot summers in Tucson.

CARS 4 N 1 Combo – Did you know that Cars 2 is planned to hit theatres in June 2011?    Not only will this be a favorite among kids, I know plenty of adults who will be just as excited about this sequel featuring Mater and Lightening McQueen.  Our new 4N1 combo has a large jumping area, basketball hoop, climbing wall and slide.  There are graphics of Mater and Lightening McQueen on the outside AND inside of this inflatable.  This jumping castle combo can be used wet or dry so you don’t have to fight the Tucson heat alone.

obstacle_course_blog.jpg65′ Obstacle Course – Talk about competative FUN – this obstacle course will take your event to the next level.   Kids (and adults) can compete from start to finish on this monster obstacle because, unlike some other obstacle courses, our slide has dual lanes.  No stopping to take turns on the slide.  If you are having a school event, company picnic, fund-raiser, church outing or just a private birthday party at a local park, this obstacle course will be the talk of the event for months.  Just make sure you have lots of room……..did we mention it’s 65′ in length and 12′ wide?  The obstacle and slide are two separate pieces and can be rented separately.
